ACMG congress review 2026
The 32nd American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting “Where genetics meets innovation” took place in Baltimore, USA, 10–14 March 2026. An estimated >3000 specialists in genetic conditions, such as achondroplasia, attended. This congress review covers a symposium on the importance of early management of achondroplasia and each specialist’s role in supporting the best possible care to people with achondroplasia and their caregivers. It also highlights some of the latest research in achondroplasia, including emerging data on long-term outcomes with vosoritide▼, evolving perspectives on the natural history and disease burden of the condition, and advancements in patient and family education.
